The Jefferson Key is Steve Berry’s latest offering and it’s about piracy, although not of the Jack Sparrow fantasy ilk. It concerns an obscure portion of the Constitution that allows privateers to plunder at will in the service of their country in time of war. Very much like Dan Brown, Berry seamlessly mixes historical fact and fiction, and tells us how he keeps it true to real life while forcing the necessary flights of imagination that spur the multiple plot lines, including some fascinating conspiracy theories on presidential assassinations.
The Jefferson Key is available on Amazon.
